Europe and Asia, two parts of the world located on one continent, are the places where civilization origins. From Russian north to Indian ocean, from the country of rising sun to Greenwich - all this space is inhabited by the people who have common roots. The values that unite these people don't have borders. Exactly these values make it possible to coexists for the nations that have so different cultures, languages and traditions. We live in a quickly changing environment and more often people start thinking and talking about desire to live in a predictable world. They are searching and finding ways and opportunities for it.
The main purpose of the expedition is to change the notions of the worlds "border" and "distance" through live communication, learning more about different cultures and traditions caused by the interest to common business. This project contributes to support of good relationships between neighbour countries and mutual respect between nations, creating positive emotional environment within the space of the project, promotion of healthy lifestyle and boundless potential of a man.
The project involves a big amount of bicycle lovers from Russia and Turkey, bicycle clubs, public and mass-media.
The marathon will finish on Galata bridge (Istanbul, Turkey), the event will be translated in the Internet.
